What drinking cups does Trixie offer, and how are they different?

Trixie's drinking cup range is designed to grow alongside your child, one stage at a time. From around 4–6 months, babies can start with a sippy cup alongside solids. From 6 months, a 360° cup is a brilliant fit. From 9 months, a straw cup supports oral control and is great for on-the-go independence. In practice, that means four cups: the silicone sippy cup for the very first sips at the table; the Tritan sippy cup with handles for slightly older babies ready for something more robust; the 360° cup with handles for learning to drink from any point on the rim; and the straw cup for independent sipping on the go. Each one is dressed in a favourite Trixie animal friend — because the right cup is so much better when it comes with good company.

How do I clean the Trixie insulated bottle?

Keeping it clean keeps the adventures going and it's simpler than you might think. Hand washing with warm soapy water is the best way to care for the insulated bottle and protect the double-wall insulation over time. A bottle brush is helpful for reaching inside, and a small spout brush is ideal for keeping the drinking spout fresh and mould-free. Avoid the dishwasher, microwave, and freezer and never fill it with hot drinks or carbonated beverages, as these can affect both the bottle and the insulation. Storing the bottle without the lid on between uses also helps keep it fresh and ready for the next big day out.

Is the Trixie insulated bottle leakproof?

Yes — 100%. We know that a leaky bottle in a school bag is every parent's worst nightmare (wet books, soggy sandwiches, a very unhappy Monday morning). The Trixie insulated bottle is durable and leakproof by design, combining a secure drinking spout with a stainless steel body built to withstand everyday adventures. Just make sure the spout is firmly closed before it goes into the bag, and your little one's backpack stays perfectly dry — whatever the day throws at it.

What practical features do Trixie insulated bottles have for kids?

Every detail has been thought through with little hands (and busy parents) in mind. The insulated bottle features a child-friendly spout that's easy to open and close, a leakproof stainless steel body, and an easy-to-carry loop for clipping onto a backpack or carrying on the go. The dimensions are 17.5 cm × 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm — compact enough to fit into a backpack side pocket, but spacious enough to hold a generous 350ml. Whether it's tucked into a school bag or dangling from a wrist, this bottle is built for real life with real kids.

Are Trixie drinking cups dishwasher-safe?

In most cases, yes. Trixie cups and bottles can be placed in the dishwasher on the top rack. Always disassemble the cup first — remove the lid, straw or valve, and any silicone pieces. Pop smaller parts into a cutlery basket so they don't get lost. When in doubt, check the care label on your specific product.

What age can a baby start using a drinking cup?

Many babies can begin practising from around 4–6 months, often alongside the introduction of solid foods. Start with small sips of water using a silicone sippy cup with easy-grip handles. There's no need to rush, keep it playful and follow your baby's lead.
